M.2 PCIE AC coupling on Tx Line

Hello, I am designing a carrier board for Jetson AGX Orin. I am planning to put an M.2 connector that will connect to an NVME. When I refer to the Design Guide, it is suggested that AC capacitors are not required on carrier board if connected to a PCIE or M.2 connector.
However, in a reference schematic P3737, I noticed that they included the capacitors inline with the TX lines still.
Should I include the AC capacitors for my application then?
