Connecting USB devices to the M.2 Key E
Hello, I need to add more USB connectors to my board, and using a USB hub is too unstable, because a USB connector is just too unreliable. I want to connect a USB hub adapter to the M.2 Key E that is connected to the WiFi, and I want to know if that is even possible before I go look for one.
I did find a M.2 extender and a M.2 to PCI-E adapter, which I confused as a USB adapter because of the same connections, but that didn’t work of course.
Is it even possible to communicate through the Key E like a USB? is the Data transfer viable?
This is the extender I found : https://www.amazon.com/-/he/dp/B07DZF1W55/ref=ex_alt_wg_d?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07DZF1W55&psc=1&pd_rd_w=uOY78&pf_rd_p=4e1b46a8-daf9-4433-b97e-d6df97cf3699&pf_rd_r=JV9R7X5TSGXEDGAZ2T48&pd_rd_wg=3q9to&pd_rd_r=4d59cc92-d0e3-4eda-a5c7-1ed58df89679&content-id=amzn1.sym.4e1b46a8-daf9-4433-b97e-d6df97cf3699
