I am spending losing time with that ancient Socket A Duron I have and I could use something like this hoping to use two devices on one IDE slot. The reason I need this is because I am also using two SATA to IDE adapters, meaning every one of them occupies the IDE slot directly not giving me the option to put two devices there. So I was thinking using a typical IDE cable and with this adapter changing one female connector to male to add the SATA to IDE adapter there and connect the DVDRW in the second female connector of the IDE cable.

Have anyone tried something like that in the past and worked?
